The outbreak of the COVID19 virus affected the entire world as well as the SII-QCD. some of our customers closed or reduced their activities, and others did not allow entry into their territories.
We are prepared and work on an ongoing basis to maintain the continuity of our service, we manage risks regarding our activities to maintain the health of our employees, we update our employees and customers regarding the changes and requirements of the accreditation bodies.
This period is challenging for us and for our clients we are proud that a significant number of our clients are involved in the war effort dealing with the corona virus, some manufacture protective masks, respirators, provide food and services to the Ministry of Health.

How we preform audit on korona time?
An audit should take place on site.
But the accreditation bodies allow for remote audits, subject to the existence of appropriate technology, the organization has confirmed, there is a possibility to maintain the confidentiality of the information, and an effective audit can be conducted.
What is required from the customer?
- Make sure that there is suitable technology that allows preforming remote audits (ZOOM, TEAMS, WEBX) or other.
- Conditions that will suit and allow for a remote audit: cameras / skimmers,
available workers - to make an effective audit - Receiving documents before the audit to allow for proper preparation.
Is it possible to audit everything remotely?
No, there are situations where the remote audit cannot be conducted such as on a classified areas or complex production lines.
Is it necessary to coordinate a postponement / cancellation of an audit ?
Yes, any request for a postponement / cancellation of an audit requires updating the responsible auditor and obtaining prior approval.
If I asked to postpone an audit?
Due to the Corona crisis, postponement of audits is possible in accordance with the rules and requirements of the accreditation bodies. An alternative audit date must be set.
If I am an organization abroad?
For organizations located abroad it is possible to conduct remote tests in accordance with the requirements.
What if my certificate expires?
It is possible to apply through the reviewer / customer relations manager to extend expired certificates subject to rules such as presenting risk management including addressing the Corona crisis, management survey, internal quality audits and maintaining the organization's quality system.
Is it possible in any situation to request an extension of a certificate?
No, an application for an extension of validity must be due to Corona. And in any case any request will be examined.
How long does a certificate extend?
It is possible to extend up to 6 + 6 months, subject to meeting the requirements and setting an alternative test date.
