Water pipe accessories and irrigation
The Chemicals, Health, and Environment Laboratory provides testing services for a range of water supply system components, from pipes through various valves and water gauges, to end peripherals (taps, toilets, fire hydrants, and so forth), including water purification system for home use, certified peripherals for drinking water, and certified chemicals for drinking water treatment.
The laboratory handles, among other things, the following subjects:
- Compliance with drinking water pursuant to Israeli Standard SI 5452
- Lead free
- Water purification systems pursuant to Israeli Standard SI 1505
- Chemicals in conformance with drinking water pursuant to the series of Israeli Standard SI 5438

The laboratory also tests plastic pipes, peripherals, and other products and tests irrigation systems and peripherals at the Ruppin Laboratory
