Easement Plans

At the instructions of the Commissioner of Standardization, Chapter 7, easement plans for goods in Group 1 have been set for importers with a history of proper imports.

The easement plans are for samples or a family of samples.

Conditions for joining:

• The goods belong to Group 1.
• There is a valid test in the product file.
• It is necessary to file a form for each sample or family of samples, stating three shipments for partial tests for the family in the past year and the appropriate conclusion.
• The manufacturing plant has an approved quality assurance system pursuant to the specifications of the valid version of ISO 9001.
  An alternative condition shall be as set forth in the guidelines and instructions of the Commissioner of Standardization, Chapter 7, Easement Plans for Importers.

Easements under the Green Plan: test 50% of the commercial shipments per year of the same samples whose product file is classified as green, as set forth in the applicable Shin annex.

Easements under the Gold Plan: test 33% of the commercial shipments per year of the same samples whose product file is classified as green, as set forth in the applicable Shin annex.

It is possible to switch to the Gold Plan after twelve continuous months on the Green Plan.

Easements under the Diamond Plan: granting of a sale permit before conducting the Shin test for the importer's green files only. The conditions for joining this plan are set forth in the Commissioner of Standardization guidelines for the import of goods, p. 35.
