  1. The Standards Institution of Israel (hereafter: "the Institution") respects the privacy of anyone using or visiting the website (hereafter: "the user"). The privacy policy detailed below addresses the type of data the Institution may collect and/or transfer and/or reveal as well as the manner of processing and the purpose of processing this data. The privacy policy will also instruct and guide the users how to act in case they do not want to have their personal details collected or revealed and/or transferred to others when they use or visit the website.
  2. The Institution may change the privacy policy at any moment by updating this document, and this change will be binding to the user for all intents and purposes.

2. Management of data

  1. Some of the services on the website require registration. By registering you will be required to submit data such as your name, your I.D. number, your contact details or e-mail address in order to receive the services offered by the website and additional information.
  2.  You are not required by law to provide us with any personal data. Sharing personal data on the website depends on your willingness and consent. 
  3. The Institution may manage a database and process any user data (such as: name, mobile phone number, e-mail address etc. (hereafter: "personal data" or "personal details") which will be known to the Institution by use of the website and that has been transferred by the users, of their own free will. The Institution commits that any such database, its use and its management will be done according to the orders of the law in the State of Israel that apply to this matter.

The Institution may transfer the personal data to its associated companies if it is necessary for operational purposes, for clearing payments made by the users and for management of user accounts, for improved contact with the users, for statistical purposes and for direct mailing, including sending text messages and e-mails relating to the Institution's services. Furthermore, the Institution may transfer personal data to third parties cooperating with the Institution in order to perform the goals listed above.

If the users do not wish to have their personal data collected, transferred or revealed in any way, as described above, they must avoid transferring their personal details to the Institution, as stated, or remove themselves from the list of digital services. The privacy policy is subject only to the law of the State of Israel, the exclusive jurisdiction for any matter concerning the privacy protection policy of the website is the authorized courts. The Institution abides by the law and respects the right of the website users and others to privacy and reputation.
