Pressure equipment

The department tests compliance of pressure equipment manufactured in Israel and overseas with Israeli and foreign standards.

The department has skilled personnel with a wealth of experience in testing pressure equipment. Over the past 20 years, the department has been involved in testing and certifying imported pressure equipment for a number of power stations built by multinationals.

• High pressure coils – series Israeli Standard SI 712 and Israeli Standard SI 9809
• Reusable liquefied petroleum gas tanks – series Israeli Standard SI 70
• Aerosols - Israeli Standard SI 742
• Glass containers - Israeli Standard SI 172
• Pressure cookers - Israeli Standard SI 428
• Disposable petroleum gas tanks –Israeli Standard SI 844
