International Recognition Agreements

The Standards Institution of Israel is a signatory to recognition agreements with foreign laboratories for product compatibility tests pursuant to international standards. Reports are recognized on the basis of a list of product standards in each agreement with each laboratory.

When an Israeli standard includes additional national specifications (supplemental to the adopted standards), the foreign laboratory may perform the test. If the laboratory cannot perform these tests, they are performed in Israel and the sample product is sent to the Standards Institution of Israel.
