Electrical Appliances

The Electric Appliances laboratory tests a range of electrical appliances, such as vehicle batteries, switches, plugs, sockets, multiple outlets, miniature automatic switches, surge protectors, installation cabinets, power connectors, and batteries.

The laboratory also tests energy savings of motors and energy efficiency of distribution transformers.

The tests are performed pursuant to the specifications of the applicable Israeli standards.

The laboratory provides the testing services needed by law, such as the tests required by the Free Imports Directive or tests pursuant to a particular regulation.

The laboratory is a member of the CB Scheme - International Electrotechnical Commission System of Conformity Assessment Schemes for Electrotechical Equipment and Components (IECEE) – and is a signatory to recognition and collaboration agreements with top laboratories in the world, which allow the laboratory to recognize certificates and test reports for approval of the sample, thereby facilitating the entire starting process.
