Cables

The Electric and Electronics Laboratory tests, among other things, power cables on which the official Israeli standards apply, in particular PVC-insulated low-voltage cables pursuant to Israeli Standard SI 60227 and its parts, rubber-insulated low-voltage cables pursuant to Israeli Standard SI 60245 and its parts, and XLPE cables pursuant to Israeli Standard SI 1516 and its parts.

The laboratory provides the testing services needed by law, such as the tests required by the Free Imports Directive or tests pursuant to a particular regulation.

The laboratory is a member of the CB Scheme - International Electrotechnical Commission System of Conformity Assessment Schemes for Electrotechical Equipment and Components (IECEE) – and is a signatory to recognition and collaboration agreements with top laboratories in the world, which allow the laboratory to recognize certificates and test reports for approval of the sample, thereby facilitating the entire starting process.
