Bicycles and Scooters
The Vehicles and Spare Parts Department specializes in vehicles and their systems, and various technological fields affiliated with transportation and transportation safety. The department laboratory is certified by the Ministry of Transport and Road Safety.
The department personnel are skilled and have extensive experience in accident investigation, failure investigation, transportation research and surveys, testing vehicles following accidents, testing structural change to all types of vehicles, testing and calibrating licensing programs, testing vehicle stability, comparative testing of non-original vehicle spare parts, and safe vehicle spare parts.

- Tests of motorized bicycles to conform with the European standard and transportation regulations for motorized bicycles, with an emphasis on electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility, and mechanical strength pursuant to Israeli Standard SI 15194
- Testing bicycles for urban riding and bicycle paths to conform with the European standard, mechanical strength tests of various bicycle assemblies, brakes performance, and tests of the frame, handlebars, and other parts pursuant to Israeli Standard SI 4210
- Testing children's bicycles to conform with the European standard, mechanical strength tests of various bicycle assemblies, paint toxicity, brakes performance, and tests of the frame, handlebars, and other parts pursuant to Israeli Standard SI 8098
- Electric scooters pursuant to Israeli Standard SI 6230
