Tools

The Electrical and Electronics Laboratory handles, among other things, tests of hand-held power and motorized tools. The series of Israeli Standards SI 60745 apply to these tools.

These tests include both the actual tool and the charger, if present.

The laboratory is a member of the CB Scheme - International Electrotechnical Commission System of Conformity Assessment Schemes for Electrotechical Equipment and Components (IECEE) – and is a signatory to recognition and collaboration agreements with top laboratories in the world, which allow the laboratory to recognize certificates and test reports for approval of the sample, thereby facilitating the entire starting process.
