Photovoltaic (PV) Modules

• A photovoltaic panel comprises a number of photovoltaic/solar cells. The panel is a solar installation for the direct production of electrical power by radiation receptors (light) from the sun. A panel has other components in addition to the photovoltaic cells, such as electricity conductors, diodes, and glass.
• The photovoltaic inverter is an electric device that uses electronic components, such as transformers, transistors, and cables to covert the direct current (DC) from the photovoltaic panel into alternating current (AC).

Use of these batteries for the non-air polluting generation of relatively inexpensive and easy electricity, compared with power plants and the like, is currently growing.

Generating electricity in this way is known as "green energy", which produces no air pollution at all.
