What is SI 18001
SI 18001 is a standard which provides requirements for an organization to control its Occupational Health and Safety (OHSAS) risks which in turn lead to improved performance and less exposure to financial and Occupational Health and Safety risks for the certified organization.

SI 18001 includes specific reference to:

  • An appropriate OHSAS policy for the Organization
  • Planning in order to Identify OHSAS risks and related legal or statutory requirements
  • Objectives, targets and programs which include Corrective Actions
  • Management review for control of OHSAS risks
  • Monitoring of OHSAS and system performance
  • Review, evaluation and improvement of the system
